How to calculate ETH staking rewards
Enter the ETH amount and the annual percentage rate (APR) you want to model. This calculator uses simple interest: yearly rewards = ETH amount × APR ÷ 100. Monthly rewards divide that result by 12; daily rewards divide it by 365.
For a hypothetical example, 10 ETH at 3.5% APR would earn 0.35 ETH per year, about 0.0292 ETH per month or 0.0010 ETH per day. This is an illustration, not a current rate or guaranteed return.
What this estimate leaves out
The model assumes a constant balance and APR. It excludes provider fees, compounding, validator downtime, penalties, deposit and withdrawal timing, taxes, and changes in the ETH price. If a provider quotes a rate before fees, your received rewards may be lower.
Frequently asked questions
Is the APR live?
No. The starting 3.5% is an illustrative input. Replace it with the rate you want to evaluate and check whether your provider quotes APR or APY, and whether fees are included.
What is the difference between APR and APY?
APR expresses an annual rate without compounding. APY includes compounding under specified assumptions. This tool models APR only; an APY quote is not directly comparable unless you account for compounding.
Can I model less than 32 ETH?
Yes. The calculator accepts any non-negative amount, but that does not mean every staking method accepts that deposit. Read our staking guide and liquid staking explainer to understand the different methods and risks.
Are the rewards guaranteed?
No. This is an educational estimate, not an offer or financial advice. Review the risks and terms of your chosen staking method before depositing funds.
